Gays?. In MY Maldives?.

Tell one of those people with the beards and the itty-bitty pants that there are gay people in the Maldives. They'll explode at you and tell you that it is a perverted few who have chosen to follow "the sin that caused a nation to flip - literally." THEN they'll happily go and blame everything from low fishing catches to the 2004 Tsunami on them.

However, I'm quite bemused at their methods of "enforcing moral righteousness". In fact, I'm surprised why this tiny country hasn't accepted homosexuality and lesbianism at all. The natural instinct to follow the natural order is strong enough, I suppose. The network of love-note couriers, and other clandestine operations that exist in our segregated schools - even in "Islamic" schools like Arabiyya and Mauhad are testament to the strength of human nature. I'm not surprised, therefore - to uncover the first known "lesbian" pairing from Mauhad School. If you're reading this, girls - don't worry; I'll take your identities with me to the grave!.

Segregating the young at an age when the human body attunes itself and prepares for life as an adult has had its consequences. We hear of the stories about "homosexual sex in the toilet" to "Islam teacher caught red-handed molesting boys.". And when you look clearly into the matter - frankly, it was bound to happen. Its a wonderful thing to see the youth bravely fighting against the ayatollahs' lethal, unnatural restrictions, bypassing the standard communications and building a guerrilla network of drop-offs, couriers and mobile internet to make the grizzled jungle warriors of South America proud. Even I had trouble breaking into the network at Arabiyya, such is their skill and dedication.

The Adhaalath Party, on many occasions;- have described how they wish to implement what they call "Shari'a Law." in Maldives. Many beardies and their adherents dreamily describe a Maldives free of western decadence and crime. Myself, I see it as a tropical remix of "Taliban.", with hastily edited versions of the Ministry for the Promotion of Virtue and Suppression of Vice, and hell, an "Islamic Republician Party". And add an environment that fosters homosexual behaviour, while flaunting itself as "a pure environment where 'sins' are a thing of the barbarous past." - the irony is such as the world has never seen before.

Below is a short list of the things the last successful set of beardies pulled off with their "Shari'a law." in the land of opium an- Afghanistan.

1. Women should not appear in the streets without a blood relative or without wearing a Burqa. A Taliban representative explained that “the face of a woman is a source of corruption for men who are not related to them”. I think they borrowed this one from the old fairy tale of Adam, Eva and Lilith for this one.
   
   
2. Women should not wear high-heeled shoes as no man should hear a woman’s footsteps lest it excite him. Yeap. Shari'a law assumes we lack humanity, empathy and compassion.
   
   
3. Women must not speak loudly in public as no stranger should hear a woman's voice.
   
   
4. The photographing or filming of women was banned as was displaying pictures of females in newspapers, books, shops or the home.
   
   
5. The modification of any place names that included the word "women." For example, "women's garden" was renamed "spring garden". So GAY, that the mere ideal of a human being with a vagina bugs them out.
   
   
6. Women were forbidden to appear on the balconies of their apartments or houses.
   
   
7. Ban on women's presence on radio, television or at public gatherings of any kind. If they ban "vaahaka dhaitha", then its time to deploy the bunker busters on their little mosques. Sure, its overkill - BUT WHO CARES?!.
   
   
8. A very jumpy justice system. Sure, the rapists might get home free with a few lashes, but its the poor girl that gets shot because "she was asking for it.", thus thinning out prospective female populations. This excuse is rather popular with the retard mullahs infesting here.

Hardly surprising, after years of "religious conservatism" has pushed for segregation; that we have gay/lesbian people here, whose existence are hotly denied by adherents of "100% muslim Maldives". I wonder if the bearded dinosaurs have any idea they are in fact, overtly encouraging a homosexual culture. And I do wonder how the clandestine communication networks the young ones have built will hold up if "absolute Shari'a law" is implemented. Sure, there'll be some arrests, beatings and executions, because the content of the letters passed would make a good wahhaabee go purple with fury (and inner homosexuality). But they will learn, and adapt. Hell, I might even anonymously assist them.

You know, now that I ponder upon it - President Anni did something pretty cool when he opened the Sultan Park so that the young couples from CHSE may have some quality time to themselves. Maybe it was his special way of saying "fuck off!" to the beardie fuckwits.

So, all you gay/lesbian people can smirk to yourselves when you hear the firebrand clerics screaming about you, and when the emphatically state that there are no such things as apostates in this country, you can smile and think "More likely than YOU think!";- and the best part its, its their fault you can say so.
